SOC2

  • The SOC 2 is a government-mandated report that assesses the risk environment in your organization. It is used to determine an organization’s security posture, or level of security. The SOC 2 can be used to identify any gaps in an organization’s system and perimeter defenses.

It is also used as a baseline for measuring changes over time in your organization’s security posture.

The SOC 2 is composed of two parts: the SOC 1 and the SOC 2 controls report. The SOC 1 looks at your overall environment and finds potential vulnerabilities, such as weak passwords, insecure wireless connections, and outdated software. The SOC 2 controls report contains actionable recommendations for mitigating those threats.

The SOC 2 was created by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in response to the growing number of data breaches that were being reported each year.

  • It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
