NIST Cybersecurity Framework
-
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework is a set of guidelines designed to help organizations identify, manage, and reduce cyber risks. The framework offers five core principles: security control selection, security control implementation, security measurement and analysis, and risk assessment and management. NIST developed the framework in response to a broad range of cybersecurity challenges that organizations across all industries face today.
The NIST Cybersecurity Framework has three key dimensions: controls (the technical tools used to prevent, detect, or respond to an attack), processes (the people and systems involved in executing IT security controls), and metrics (the data collected to measure how effective IT security controls are). It also includes a number of supporting concepts such as asset identification, threat modeling, risk analysis, and business impact assessment.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
