COBIT

  • COBIT is a framework for IT governance, developed by the IT Governance Institute. COBIT defines five key areas of IT governance, each with a specific set of practices and policies: strategy, architecture, operations, compliance and risk. It is intended to provide structure and alignment across IT organizations, as well as to facilitate communication and collaboration between all stakeholders in an organization's IT infrastructure.

It is also used to describe how to implement the principles of IT governance.

COBIT has been described as a "meeting place" for IT leaders and governance bodies to discuss and share best practices. It provides a means to align functions across business units while also identifying risks and controls that can be implemented.

  • It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
